Stories of Transformation

Real voices from our community on the path to healing and balance.

Meeting and working with Myriam was a life-changing experience. A few years ago, when I was part of a bariatric obesity program in Colombia, she guided me through a very important process to improve my relationship with food. Thanks to her guidance, I learned to change my nutritional habits in a more conscious and healthy way. Myriam always showed great empathy, patience, and commitment throughout my entire journey, helping me understand that the change wasn’t just about the food, but also about how I related to myself. Today, I can say that her support was key to starting a more balanced and healthy lifestyle. I am very grateful for everything I learned during that time.

“I would like to share my testimony after reading Myriam’s book, The Connection Between Your Mind and Your Food. At first, I was deeply drawn to its title. As I was reading it, I felt increasingly motivated to take action and make a change in my diet. Not just with motivation and willpower, but by becoming mentally conscious of what kind of food I am going to choose for my diet, my health, and my overall well-being. I can truly confirm that the connection between your mind and your food is fundamental for a real transformation. Thank you, Myriam, for sharing your knowledge with us in this book, which motivated me to change, and for the healthy recipes, which are a great bonus.”

“I still remember when I first learned about Myriam Lozano and her program ‘Feed Your Mind.’ I’ve also read her book, and honestly, I never imagined how much it would make me reflect on the relationship between food and the mind. After learning more about her work, I started to become more conscious of how I treat my body and my mind. Now I try to take better care of both my physical and mental health, without feeling so much guilt when eating and being kinder to myself. It left me with a different perspective and more peace of mind. I feel it’s something many people should know about.”

“I still remember the day I went to Myriam Lozano’s talk. Honestly, I had heard about her book, but I never imagined how much it would make me think about food and the mind. Since that day, I look in the mirror and show myself love, I eat without blaming myself for anything, and I feel more at peace mentally. It’s a talk every human being should hear.”

“Dr. Myriam Lozano: Thank you for treating me with so much patience and care during the hypertension program in Colombia. Your support was fundamental to my well-being. Your dedication not only improved my eating habits and physical health, but also lifted my spirit. I deeply appreciate your warmth and for being a guiding light throughout the process. Your professionalism has been invaluable.”

“The book The Connection Between Your Mind and Your Food by Myriam Lozano gave me the tools to learn how to eat consciously. Eating is an act of love toward ourselves, which many times we do without valuing it or paying attention to what we are giving to our bodies. Now I can say that I have a better relationship with my food and that I can allow myself the pleasure of eating what I crave in a healthy way and without feeling guilty. As a translator and interpreter, I also had the opportunity to interpret during one of Myriam Lozano’s conferences presented in Spanish, and it has been one of the most enriching experiences I’ve had. Her workshop was easy for me to interpret into English because she delivers it in a dynamic and simple way that is easy for her audience to understand. I saw how many people committed themselves to developing a better relationship with their eating after attending Myriam Lozano’s workshop and her program ‘Feed Your Mind’.”
