The connection between your mind and your food.
With a trajectory recognized by NPR, StoryCorps, and the Library of Congress, Myriam Lozano’s work transcends the page. As the author of the bilingual guide La conexión entre tu mente y tu alimento, Myriam has spent years educating audiences on emotional resilience and conscious living.
She is currently in the creative process of her upcoming release, “Crónica de una mujer silenciada”. This new work promises to deepen her mission of healing and inspiration, further cementing her influence as a thought leader in the Hispanic and international wellness communities.
Wellness isn’t just about what you eat; it’s about how you think. In her debut book, Myriam Lozano explores the profound, often invisible dialogue between our neural pathways and our nutritional choices. Part professional guide, part personal journey, this is an invitation to align your mind and body to discover the most authentic version
of yourself.

If you are coming from a cycle of:
• Strict diets and constant restrictions
• Extreme exercise routines
• Supplements and medications
• The “start and stop” loop
…and you simply feel exhausted.
It’s not because you failed. It’s because those
short-term approaches aren’t designed for your
long-term life. The “rebound effect,” the frustration, and the emotional burnout are all symptoms of a cycle that ignores the root of the problem.
This book is different.
It isn’t built on more restriction; it’s built on identification. It doesn’t rely on fleeting willpower;
it relies on your conscious decision. It doesn’t pull
you away from yourself; it reconnects you.
In this bilingual guide, nutritionist Myriam Lozano reveals the invisible threads that connect your mental state to your nutritional choices. This isn’t just about what you eat—it’s about why you eat. Through professional expertise and personal resilience, you will learn to:
Decode Your Body’s Signals: Differentiate between emotional hunger and physical need.
Identify the “Root” Cause: Move beyond the “start and stop” cycle of dieting and address the emotional triggers beneath.
Master Conscious Gastronomy: Implement practical strategies to nourish your mind and body simultaneously.
Break the Cycle of Guilt: Learn to deal with the “rebound effect” and the emotional burnout of traditional restrictions.
A Legacy of Connection
I wrote The Connection Between Your Mind and Your Food as a legacy of my 11 years of experience as a nutritionist in Barranquilla, Colombia. Throughout my career, working in clinics and interdisciplinary programs like Vivir Ligero,
The true path to health is internal. It is about discovering, identifying, recognizing your own internal patterns and emotional battles. It is about accepting what is, working with love toward what will be,
and allowing your own unique process
to unfold. Within that process lies true freedom and empowerment.
From a Book to a Mission
This book marked the beginning of my purpose: to provide a voice and a guide for those seeking a conscious, guilt-free relationship with food. Its launch led me
to found my company, Alimenta Tu Mente LLC, and to deepen my studies in wellness, coaching, and nutrition.
Today, my mission is to accompany others as they transform their lives through awareness. I believe that true sustainability in healthy habits and lifestyle is only found through personal empowerment.
“The distance between who I am and who I want to be is only separated by what I do.”
